Shannon's Story (continued):

I’ve never set foot into more of a beautiful house. Now I remember it not as a shelter, but a home that I’ll never forget.

All of you guys have taken a lot of pain out of my heart so not I can focus on a better life for Jenny and me. You guy’s have made me see, the bad stuff in the past doesn’t matter. What we can do in the here and now is what counts.

I’ve got to say, you guy’s party too much. Every time someone in the shelter has a birthday you give a party and gifts. The memories that you give all the children and ladies in your program won’t be forgotten.

I can’t thank you enough for everything. I hope more women can be lucky enough to get in your program.
