Family Renewal Shelter - About FRS

Tammy's Story:

Due to the special needs of her two youngest children, this mom now works as a para educator in her children’s school. She also has started her own catering business, which happened after she served food at a community event that FRS was involved in and recommended her. She has a partner (also a former client at FRS) and they have all the work they can handle this summer—including a wedding they will be flown to Hawaii to cater. She makes regular cash donations to FRS and also does volunteer work at the shelter, which included catering a great July 4th picnic. Her oldest son, who is about to enter 10th grade, has received the President’s Award and other honors at his middle school this year.
